Smoked Duck Breast Salad

Ingredients

  • Smoked Duck Breast
    Baby cos lettuce leaves
    Parmesan cheese
    Crispy bread croutons

Recipe

To Prepare The Duck

1. If frozen, defrost in the refrigerator.

2. Remove Smoked Duck Breast from bag.

3. Slice and serve

To Heat The Duck (if preferrred)

Oven - Slice and place skin side up in an oven dish in a hot oven, approx. 5 minutes.

Grill - Slice and place skin side up in an oven dish under a hot grill until warm.

Recipe

1. Place some baby cos lettuce leaves in a salad bowl.

2. Scatter the sliced duck, crispy bread croutons and shavings of parmesan cheese on top of the lettuce.

3. When ready to serve, drizzle your favourite salad dressing over the salad, toss and serve.

A creamy Ceasar style or traditional vinaigrette dressing would be ideal.

Serving Suggestion

Include with an antipasto platter, on top of grilled asparagus, or toss in a pasta or stir fry dish.
