Our outdoor bred and reared Farm Assured pork is principally sourced from selected Lincolnshire and Yorkshire farms.
The breeds we purchase are predominately Large White & Landrace.
The Large White, which originated in Yorkshire County, is the leading breed in the world for quality pork; it is also one of the oldest breeds first registered in 1884 with The National Pig Breeders Association in Watford.
We also offer rare breeds such as The Gloucester Old Spot and Tamworth when they are available.

Tamarind, organic maple syrup & maderia stuffed pork loin
John Pettit's recently won the coveted British Pig Executive (BPEX) 2008 Pork Product of the Year with their Tamarind, Organic Maple Syrup & Maderia stuffed Pork Loin.
This product is created from prime boneless out-door bred and reared Lincolnshire Pork Loin with a pocket of Tamarind, Organic Maple Syrup & Maderia forcemeat engrafted into the eye of the Pork Loin.
This stunning new product was evolved by John Pettit's wife Valerie in our development kitchens. Each joint is supplied with a pouch of Tamarind, Maple & Maderia marinade to coat the outside of the joint prior to cooking. Should you wish, you can take steaks off the joint or indeed steak the whole as the steaks are delicious grilled or barbecued.
